Charlotte works primarily with criminal cases and insolvency law, including debt restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.
She has for a number of years specialized in handling criminal cases in both city courts and high courts as counsel for the defence. In this regard, Charlotte is especially assigned by the Ministry of Justice to lead criminal cases before the courts. Hence, Charlotte has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the criminal law, including cases regarding right of way, offences against property, crimes with bodily harm and financial crimes. Further, Charlotte offers legal assistance to the injured party in criminal cases.
In recent years, Charlotte has acted as counsel for the defendant in some of the most high-profiled criminal cases in Denmark and has in this connection also handled the client’s interests in the media.
Further, Charlotte has for about 20 years specialized in insolvency law and her main speciality is debt restructuring, including debt restructuring during bankruptcy proceedings. Charlotte is a certified insolvency lawyer in the Danish society of insolvency lawyers.
Finally, Charlotte has experience with family law, mainly agreements regarding custody of children.
Charlotte became Master of Law in 1993 and is partner in Brockstedt-Kaalund.
